Country legends Alabama hit Fort Worth on 2024 tour, only date in Texas
The legendary country rock group Alabama will come to Fort Worth as part of their Roll On II North America tour, playing at Dickies Arena on Friday, December 7.
The Fort Worth date is an add-on to the tour, which was announced in March and has the band playing a few concerts each month. Fort Worth is currently the only Texas stop on the tour and only date in December.
Alabama will be joined by special guest David Lee Murphy in Fort Worth.
The band out of Fort Payne, Alabama is celebrating its 55th anniversary since being formed by cousins Teddy Gentry, Randy Owen and the late Jeff Cook in 1969. Releasing their debut album in 1976, they have gone on to put out 26 studio albums, most recently American Christmas in 2017.
Alabama has sold 80 million albums in their career, with eight of them going to No. 1 in the 1980s alone. Even more impressive, they have 43 No. 1 singles to their name, including 21 in a row from 1980-1987, and a top 10 streak that lasted until 1993.
Tickets for the Fort Worth concert go on sale to the public on Friday, August 9 at 10 am via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can purchase early on Thursday, August 8th from 10 a.m to 11:59 pm with the unlock code: ROLLON.
