1. Fort Worth-based pizza chain set to expand with Walmart partnership. Pizza and shopping go hand in hand, at least that's what one Fort Worth-based pizza chain thinks. Mr Gatti's Pizza is partnering with Walmart to roll out 92 Mr Gatti's locations in stores in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Kentucky.
2. Tavern at historic downtown Fort Worth building to close after 14 years. A downtown Fort Worth institution is closing: T & P Tavern, a gastropub-diner on the ground floor of the Texas & Pacific Lofts at 221 W. Lancaster Ave., is closing after 14 years.

5. Pickleball Kingdom to open its biggest location yet in Fort Worth. Remember pickleball, the post-pandemic craze? It's still crazy, and now there are two new spots coming to Dallas-Fort Worth, including one in the Keller area. Both are new locations of Pickleball Kingdom, a concept founded in Chandler, Arizona in 2022, being brought to North Texas by Dallas entrepreneur and pickleball fanatic Dan Jenkins.
