Tumbling into town
NCAA's biggest 2024 showdown ushers in dreamy spring for Fort Worth gymnastics fans
It's going to be a hot spring for gymnastics fans in Fort Worth. The 2024 NCAA Women's National Collegiate Gymnastics Championships are coming to Dickies Arena, April 18-20, and earlybird tickets are on sale for a limited time.
The NCAA season's final showdown will not only bring the best collegiate gymnasts to town to vie for a national title, but for gymnastics fans, it'll be a run-up to the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships, taking place at Dickies Arena, May 30-June 2, 2024. The latter competition will see the country's most elite gymnasts vying for spots on the Paris Olympics team.
Fort Worth is a frequent host for the NCAA Gymnastics Championships; they last took place at Dickies Arena in April 2023. University of Oklahoma won the title.
Though it's far too soon to know which schools and athletes will compete in 2024 (here are some predictions), the meet will feature the top eight NCAA Women’s Gymnastics teams and numerous individual competitors in the country as they compete for the title of National Champion.
The schedule (subject to change) will be as follows, organizers say:
- Thursday, April 18 – Session 1 – 3:30 pm start
- Thursday, April 18 – Session 2 – 8 pm start
- Saturday, April 20 – Finals – 3 pm start
