Rapper Rod Wave gets nostalgic on new tour with stop in Fort Worth
Rapper/singer Rod Wave will hit the road this fall in support of his new album, Nostalgia, including a stop at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on Saturday, December 9.
The 35-city tour will take place over the course of two months, kicking off in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 19. In addition to Fort Worth, he will also perform in Houston on December 7 and Austin on December 10.
In Fort Worth, he'll be joined by supporting acts Ari Lennox, Toosii, G Herbo, and Eelmatic.
Nostalgia marks the fifth album in as many years for the rising artist, a pace that is unusual in the modern music world. The 25-year-old Florida native got his start in 2016, putting out a series of mixtapes before releasing his debut album, Ghetto Gospel, in 2019, which featured the breakout hit "Heart on Ice."
That album was quickly followed by another six months later, which started his domination of the Billboard charts. 2020's Pray for Love, went to No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Rap charts, and his next two albums went to No. 1 on both.
Tickets for the tour go on sale to the public on Thursday, September 14 at 10 am via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can purchase early on Wednesday, September 13 from 10 am to 10 pm with the unlock code: CALLYOURFRIENDS.
