Rock icons Rush to do 4 Fort Worth shows on limited anniversary tour

Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush will come to Dickies Arena on June 24 and 26, 2026.
The legendary rock band Rush will celebrate their 50th anniversary and more on a very limited 2026 tour, Fifty Something, with only seven cities — including Fort Worth, where the band will perform two concerts at Dickies Arena on June 24 and 26, 2026.
UPDATE 10/8/25: Due to "incredible demand," Rush has added two more dates at Dickies Arena on June 28 and 30.
This is the first time that the band has toured since their 2015 R40 Live Tour, and also the first time that co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have gone on the road since the death of drummer Neil Peart in 2020.
The small, seven-city tour is scheduled to take place over three months in summer 2026, visiting Los Angeles, Mexico City, Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, Toronto, and Cleveland. Most cities will be treated to back-to-back concerts.
The band will play two sets each night, with each show featuring a distinct selection of songs. Rush will build each night’s setlist from a catalogue of 35 songs, including their greatest hits and fan favorites.
The band is fudging their 50th anniversary slightly, as they released their debut album in 1974. But it gives them an excuse to celebrate their long history with their fans, as well as honoring the life of Peart.
“It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of Rush alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil," Lee said in a statement. "Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fucking miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of Rush music."
For the tour, Lee and Lifeson will be accompanied by German drummer, composer, and producer Anika Nilles, who has performed as Jeff Beck’s drummer for over 60 shows and has released four solo albums.
Fans will be able to participate in the Rush Artist Presale by signing up at livemu.sc/rush by Thursday, October 9 at 11:59 pm ET. The Artist Presale begins on Monday, October 13 at 12 pm in the US.
There will also be a presale for Citi cardmembers from Friday, October 10 at 12 pm until Sunday, October 12 at 11:59 pm.
The general onsale begins on Friday, October 17 at 12 pm for the US at rush.com.
