Word of mouth helps boost a neighborhood's reputation, and real estate agent Joseph Romero credits his friends and clients for introducing him to Ridglea Hills.
"I have been working in the neighborhood for seven years," he says. "I love how the topography changes from block to block."
Beautiful homes boasting lush, green, oversized lots and plenty of mature trees, Romero describes the are as charming, friendly, and welcoming.
"The neighborhood caters to everyone," he says. "You're always steps from your local coffee shop, restaurants, and more. And easy highway access means you can get to any part of the city within minutes."
Romero offered up a few of his personal favorites about life in Ridglea Hills. Here's his guide to the area:
Where to eat & drink
"There are a few great spots called Little Lily Sushi, Campisi's for pizza, and The Fitzgerald, plus you can't forget a local Fort Worth staple: The Lunchbox," he says. "For cocktails, there is a great intimate lounge called The Basement Lounge, where elegance meets style topped off with a long list of handcrafted cocktails."
Where to play
"Morris Berney Park is great for relaxing on a beautiful day," Romero offers. "Ridglea Country Club is also terrific for when you want to sit by the pool, take up tennis, or play a game of golf."
What to see
Ridglea Hills is just steps away from Fort Worth's renowned museums, or it's always a treat to drive by the Fuller House, a geometric masterpiece designed by internationally acclaimed Los Angeles architect A. Quincy Jones.
Where to live
"Each home is unique and has its own style," Romero says. "Traditionally, you will see ranch-style homes that are single story and most of the home in the area have oversized lots. These are major selling points to people who are looking for a serene backyard to call home."
