Best Fort Worth restaurants to take Mom for 2018 Mother's Day brunch

There’s no doubt about it, moms put in work. It’s time to spoil that lovely lady, and these restaurants are here to help. From lavish brunch buffets and specialty cocktails to low-key dives and kid-friendly menus, this list has Mother’s Day 2018 covered.
B&B Butchers & Restaurant
Brunch dishes like strawberry cream cheese French toast, lox with Ossetra caviar, and jumbo lump crab cake Benedict will be served inside and on the outdoor patio from 10 am-3 pm. There’ll be live music by local favorite Big Mike, a balloon artist to entertain the kids, and a couple of Texas longhorns ready to serve as a backdrop for family photo ops at the eatery recently named Best New Restaurant in the prestigious CultureMap Tastemaker Awards. Bird Café
In addition to the Sundance Square restaurant’s regular brunch menu, new exec-chef Kyle will serve specials like Southern hash with house-made tasso, roasted sprouts and poached eggs, almond pancakes with walnut toffee, and rosemary fried chicken and waffles. Chef Point
Chef Franson Nwaeze will serve longtime favorites like chicken and waffles and filet with lobster tail, along with specials like crab-stuffed swordfish and French toast bread pudding. The Mother’s Day menu will be offered from 10 am-8 pm. 817-656-0080.
City Works
Treat Mom to a “Momosa” and one of two special Mother’s Day brunch dishes to be offered at the Shops at Clearfork eatery – an egg white frittata baked with goat cheese, avocado, asparagus, basil, and fennel, and smoked salmon flatbread with dill crème fraiche and fried capers. Classic at Roanoke
The Roanoke restaurant is preparing a special three-course fixed price Mother’s Day lunch. Chef Charles has put together a family-friendly menu for the occasion; the full menu will not be available on Mother’s Day. Lunch will be served from 11 am-3 pm. Cost is $40 adults, $25 children per person (plus tax and gratuity), and a credit card is required to hold a reservation. 817-430-8185.
Clay Pigeon
The scratch kitchen’s four-course menu starts with a brunch board of cured meats, cheeses and preserves for the table, followed by a choice of second and third course options. Standout selections include a chilled spring pea soup, quiche Lorraine with arugula salad, and buttermilk Belgian waffle with honey yogurt and macerated berries. Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse
Brunch dishes like lobster Benedict, filet Benedict, and prime ribeye will be available, along with the high-end steakhouse’s full menu, all day starting at 11 am. 817-877-3999.
Eddie V’s
In addition to serving its signature menu all day, a $49 per-person, three-course brunch menu will be offered. To start, guests can choose among smoked salmon, fried green tomatoes, or a deviled egg trio. Entrée course options include steak and eggs, lobster quiche Florentine, shrimp and grits, Alaskan king crab omelet, and a crispy chicken white cheddar jalapeño biscuit. Ellerbe Fine Foods
The elegant three-course brunch — which comes with choice of asparagus soup or strawberry salad, eggs Florentine, chili braised brisket, or mojo de ajo Texas Gulf shrimp, and citrus cheesecake for dessert — is $45 per person. FnG Eats
The busy Keller kitchen will offer their full brunch menu and three seating times to accommodate crowds, including 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm. 817-741-5200.
Fuego Burger Benbrook
Patrons will find throw-back Salsa Fuego favorites on the brunch buffet menu, like fajitas and cheese enchilada stacks along with green chile mac, coconut chicken tenders, migas, and doughnut bread pudding. Grace
The upscale downtown restaurant will open early from 10:30 am-2:30 pm to serve its regular fine dining menu along with a selection of brunch items, including pork carnitas with white cheddar grits, eggs “Benedict” over a petite filet with lump crab, and pain perdu with Texas berries and Vermont maple syrup. 817-877-3388.
Lightcatcher Winery
The Fort Worth winery will serve an extensive Mother's Day buffet that includes a selection of appetizers like smoked salmon or biscuits and gravy; a carving station with bacon-wrapped filet mignon; sides of cheddar mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus; and assorted desserts. Omni Fort Worth Hotel
The smorgasbord will take place in the lobby level of the downtown luxury hotel, where guests will be treated to multiple buffet stations including cheese and charcuterie, eggs made to order, crab claws and smoked salmon, breakfast pastries, and carving stations. Taste Project

The Capital Grille
Brunch choices at the downtown restaurant include soup or salad, then main entrees of shrimp and grits, lobster frittata, bone-in dry aged NY strip with fried egg, filet mignon, or pan-seared salmon. Truluck’s
If Mom is in the mood for something more than a mimosa, order her the Mother’s Daydream, Truluck’s special concoction of Tito’s Vodka, fresh lemon juice, strawberries, aperol, orgeat, and mint leaves shaken and served in a coupe glass garnished with tea roses. Menu items include short rib hash browns, crab cake melt with Tillamook cheddar, Mediterranean seafood salad, trout amandine, and Wagyu chicken fried steak and eggs.
