Sipping mint tea takes on a whole new meaning when it’s infused into beer. Try the Keller brewery’s mint tea cream ale for $6 a pint, one day only from 4 to 9 pm. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Admission is free.

5-Course Glenlivet Scotch Dinner at Café Modern
Scotch lovers are in for a treat as the aged spirits featured at this five-course dinner range from 12 to 18 years old. Local “master of scotch” Craig Vaught will be on-hand to talk through each. Dinner includes sea scallop sashimi, rabbit ravioli, seasonal vegetables, lamb roulade, and brown butter ice cream. Reservations are $99 ($89 for museum members) excluding tax and gratuity, and dinner begins at 6:30 pm.
Opus One Wine Dinner at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse
Opus One is the Maserati of wines, with a price tag to match. The $575 per person reservation (plus tax and gratuity) includes passed appetizers, three courses, and dessert paired with five wines, including a 2006 red blend. Bubbles! A Seated Tasting of Sparkling Wines with Pairings at Grand Cru Wine Bar & Boutique
Only the 8 pm seating is still available at this wine pairing tasting. Sparkling sips range from brut from Champagne, France to rosé from South Africa. Decadent bites include calamari, shrimp and arugula salad, deviled eggs, caviar and crème fraiche tartlets, smoked salmon BLTs, and a Spanish charcuterie and cheese board. OB Mac Grand Opening
The historic O.B. Macaroni Company building has been transformed into a hip spot for shopping and eats, and the opening celebration will be veritable food fest. Sample ice cream creations from Melt Ice Creams, drinks from Craftwork Coffee Co., and malts from TexMalt. There will also be a wine bar and macaroni station by chef Dena Peterson-Shaskan. Tickets are $20 and the event begins at 6 pm.

The Usual’s 8th Anniversary Party
The West Magnolia Avenue pioneering craft cocktail bar will commemorate eight years with happy hour all night, a few fan favorite drinks that are no longer on the menu, and appearances by past bartenders. The party starts at 7 pm, and there’s no cover charge.
