Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ to open in unique location in Burleson

A restaurant serving both hot dogs and barbecue in one location is coming to Burleson: Called Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ, it will be an "express" location opening inside a Walmart at 951 Wilshire Blvd. in late spring.
Crave is a fast-casual BBQ and hot dog joint serving BBQ, sandwiches, sliders, hot dogs, and brats. It was founded by husband-and-wife Salvatore and Samanatha Rincione, two food & beverage veterans with extensive franchising experience, and is based in Long Island where it was founded in 2018.
Crave has 20-plus locations in Florida, Arizona, Georgia, Colorado, and South Carolina, in a variety of models. Some are stand-alone restaurants and others are food trucks. The Burleson location is embedded inside a Walmart — similar to a partnership Walmart has with Fort Worth's Mr Gatti's pizza chain.
It joins a standalone location in Mansfield at 121 W. Debbie Ln. — which opened in January 2024 and has an accompanying food truck — and a food truck in Austin.
Their menu features eight hot dog options, from a plain to meal-sized options such as a Loaded Baked Potato dog in which a hot dog is topped with tater tots, bacon, cheddar cheese, & sour cream; a Nacho dog with craft beer cheese and tortilla chips; a Chicago dog, of course; and a Memphis dog topped with pulled pork and coleslaw.
But the menu does not stop at hot dogs: They also have sandwiches, sliders, bowls, and breakfast options such as a a biscuit sandwich with bacon, egg, & cheese, and a build-your-own egg bowl. Prices start at $5.45 for pretzel bites and top out at $14 for a brisket bowl, featuring baked beans and cornbread topped with brisket.
In addition to Burleson, Crave also has plans for locations in Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Texarkana, with addresses and opening dates still TBA.
This Walmart partnership helps bring Crave’s food to a new market, says Samantha Rincione in a statement.
"There will be the same offerings as our brick-and-mortars, just different combinations making it convenient and quick for shoppers," she says. "After many conversations and reviewing, we felt that an express model inside Walmart stores would be a great fit for the brand."
“We are thrilled to bring Crave Hot Dogs & BBQ to Burleson,” she says. “This location is helping to expand the brand’s presence and add to the existing food trucks and brick and mortars we have in the state.”
