Reading Is Fun
Dallas TV star among 20 top authors announced for Texas Book Festival 2015
The Texas Book Festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015, and the organization has announced 20 top authors participating this year — including Linda Gray, better known as Sue Ellen Ewing around these parts.
"I'm so happy we can finally share a handful of the literary stars and soon-to-be-stars joining us this year," said literary director Steph Opitz in a release. "Looking for something for that gourmand friend? Check. Angsty tween who loves comics? Check. A twentysomething aspiring poet who's read it all? Check. The family history buff? Check."
In addition to Gray, this year's talent includes notable names like Chuck Palahniuk, Sandra Cisneros, Margaret Atwood, Wendell Pierce, and Aaron Franklin. These authors and many more will be featured at the festival, which takes place October 17-18 around the Texas State Capitol in Austin.
