Time to Reset
This exclusive girls' getaway is just outside Fort Worth
After a handful of successful excursions to tropical locales (hello, Belize), the founders of Reset Retreat are making it easier than ever for ladies to get away and recharge. In September, the Austin-based women's-only vacation company will host its first Texas retreat, just outside of Fort Worth.
"We wanted to create something easier for people to get to. It's a four-day accelerated program, and it's really diving into the life coaching and the yoga," says Reset Retreat co-founder Cierra Savatgy-King.
The Texas Reset Retreat takes place September 15-18 at a private villa in Hudson Oaks, about 30 minutes west of Fort Worth. During the four-day wellness getaway, guests will loosen up with yoga, enjoy chef-prepared meals, undergo personality exercises to better understand themselves, and delve into the deep stuff with a life coach.
If that doesn't help you unwind, perhaps the waterslide and expansive views of the Texas countryside will do the trick.
Savatgy-King met fellow Reset Retreat founders Natalie Jenkins and Crystal Veness on a Croatian cruise. Though strangers, the three bonded over the "commonalities between what we were experiencing as women: self worth, who you want to be when you grow up, breakups, finding who you are, and what you stand for," Savatgy-King says.
They founded Reset Retreat to create the same experience for others. Often it's what remains after the initial getaway that helps women maintain their newfound peace of mind. Following the retreat, many participants keep in touch through a private Facebook group where they support one another long after the vacation ends.
Rates for the Texas Reset Retreat are $1,590 for a shared room and $1,990 for private accommodations. The price includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as daily yoga, coaching sessions, and more.
