These are the 7 best things to do in Fort Worth this Thanksgiving weekend
While some events got a head start last week, Thanksgiving is when holiday events truly kick into high gear. In fact, only two events featured this weekend aren't holiday-related. Among your options are two lights events, two holiday theater productions, holiday classical music, an Oscar-worthy animated film, and a hip hop concert.

Wednesday, November 22
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical
The beloved TV classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer soars off the screen and onto the stage at Bass Performance Hall. See all of your favorite characters from the special, including Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, the Abominable Snow Monster, Clarice, Yukon Cornelius, and, of course, Rudolph, as they come to life on stage. The production will have two final performances on Wednesday.

Texas Motor Speedway presents Gift of Lights
Texas Motor Speedway will open its gates to the public for the annual Gift of Lights drive-through holiday lights spectacular. The event will include over two miles of light displays with almost 3 million lights. Visitors get to stay in their warm cars, listening to Christmas music on KLTY. After they finish with the drive-through, they can visit Santa’s Village to take pictures with Santa, ride on the Reindeer Express miniature train, see a few retired race cars, and more. The event will take place every day through December 30.

Magnolia at the Modern: Loving Vincent
Mystery surrounds the death of famed painter Vincent van Gogh in 1890 France in the unique animated feature film Loving Vincent. Every one of the film's frames has been oil-painted to emulate Van Gogh's style, making his story and his art come alive. The film, which should be a shoo-in for a Best Animated Feature nomination at next year's Oscars, will screen seven times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Enchant: The World's Largest Christmas Light Maze & Market
A world of Christmas wonder awaits as Enchant: The World's Largest Christmas Light Maze & Market makes its U.S debut at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Guests can get lost in the world's largest light maze, take photos around the largest Christmas tree in North Texas, glide around the ice-skating pond, or waltz through the Enchant Christmas Market with over 85 vendors, including Arlington favorite Texas Christkindl Market Lane, now a part of the Enchant experience. The event will go on through December 31.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents Home for the Holidays
The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will kick off the holiday season with Home for the Holidays, a fun-filled family tradition that features favorite seasonal songs and a special visit by a man in a red and white suit. The concert will feature Arlington High School Chamber Singers, Lone Star Youth Chorus of Fort Worth, Paschal High School Panther Chorale, and Summit High School Jaguar Chorale. The concert will be performed four times through Sunday at Bass Performance Hall.
Jubilee Theatre presents A Motown Christmas
Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with this Jubilee Theatre Christmas debut. Created in 2015 by Nate Jacobs-Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe, this family-fun musical is filled with Christmas favorites from Motown, including Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, and The Jackson 5, all performed in the unmistakable Jubilee Theatre style. The production will run through December 24.

105.3 The Fan House Party Feat. House of Pain with Everlast, DJ Z-Trip and Rhymin' N Stealin'
Billy Bob's Texas is normally a venue where country music reigns supreme, but it'll be pumping out hip hop during 105.3 The Fan's House Party. The concert will feature performances by House of Pain, most famous for their song "Jump Around;" DJ Z-Trip, who's worked with a variety of well-known artists; and Rhymin' N Stealin', the original Beastie Boys tribute band.
