These are the 8 best things to do in Fort Worth this weekend
We're now just 12 days before Christmas (not to be confused with the 12 Days of Christmas, which start on Christmas Day), and the holiday events are in full swing. This weekend will feature two concerts of seasonal songs, some of the best Christmas lights around, a different type of Nutcracker, and a classic holiday movie backed by an orchestra.

Palace Arts Center presents The Texas Tenors: Deep in the Heart of Christmas
The Texas Tenors will come back to Grapevine with their heartwarming and touching holiday concert Deep in the Heart of Christmas. From seasonal favorites like “O Holy Night” and “Joy to the World” to a crowd pleaser like The Righteous Brothers’ “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’” and original hit, “Bootdaddy,” The Texas Tenors bring a unique blend of music to the stage. They'll perform five times through Saturday at Palace Arts Center in Grapevine.
Casa Mañana presents Sandi Patty: Christmas Blessings
As a highly acclaimed performer with five Grammy Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, three platinum records, five gold records, and 11 million units sold, Sandi Patty is simply known as “The Voice.” For her Christmas Blessings concert, she'll perform her rendition of “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “Jingle Bells ala Sandra,” her moving arrangement of “O Holy Night,” and more. The concert will take place at Casa Mañana Theatre.

Grimaldi's Clearfork Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting
Known for its award-winning, coal-fired, brick oven pizza, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will make its debut at the Shops at Clearfork, giving Fort Worth pizza lovers their first taste of some of the best pizza in the world. Grimaldi's opened its first location under the Brooklyn Bridge in New York in 1990. The Shops at Clearfork location will be Grimaldi’s Pizzeria’s seventh location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and 17th overall in Texas.
Magnolia at the Modern Film presents Science Fair
Winner of the audience award at Sundance and SXSW, National Geographic Documentary Films' Science Fair follows nine high school students from around the globe as they navigate rivalries, setbacks, and, of course, hormones on their journey to compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair. The film will screen seven times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Interlochen Lights
The Interlochen neighborhood in Arlington will once again show off its fantastic lights display. Known as the best neighborhood light show in Texas, the Interlochen lights are iconic. Tune in to Christmas radio stations 102.1 FM or 98.7 FM and cruise around the neighborhood and pick out your favorites. Be prepared for a wait, though, as this is one of the busiest spots in Dallas-Fort Worth during the holiday season. The lights will be on display every night through December 25.
Texas Ballet Theater presents The Nutty Nutcracker
The three-weekend run of Texas Ballet Theater's The Nutcracker will once again be interrupted by a one-night-only performance of The Nutty Nutcracker. Get ready for another uproarious, unconventional take on the holiday classic, featuring hilarious commentary on current events and pop culture. You never know who might appear on stage, so get set for a performance of side-splitting laughs at Bass Performance Hall.

National Theatre Live presents The Madness of King George III
The Madness of George III is National Theatre Live’s first-ever broadcast from Nottingham Playhouse. Written by one of Britain’s best-loved playwrights Alan Bennett, this epic play was also adapted into a BAFTA Award-winning film following its premiere on stage in 1991. The production, starring Olivier Award winner Mark Gatiss, will screen at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents Home Alone with Orchestra
A true holiday favorite, this beloved comedy classic features renowned composer John Williams’ charming and delightful score performed live to picture by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister, an 8-year-old boy who’s accidentally left behind when his family leaves for Christmas vacation, and who must defend his home against two bungling thieves. The concert will take place at Will Rogers Memorial Center.
