4th of July Weekend in Denton is a two-day event featuring both the Yankee Doodle Parade and July Jubilee.

On July 1, the Yankee Doodle Parade features a variety of floats, organizations, and more. It begins near the Wells Fargo building at Austin St. and Hickory St., continues around the square, then down McKinney St. to the Denton Civic Center.

On July 3, the July Jubilee in the Historic Denton Square features live music, food from local vendors, inflatables, games, rock climbing, face painting, photo opportunities, a hot dog eating contest, and drone shows sponsored by Denton Noon Kiwanis.
