Boricua Strong Benefit is an event designed to raise funds and supplies for Puerto Rico hurricane relief. The fundraising benefit will feature a number of major brands who have direct ties to Puerto Rico, including Taste of Puerto Rico, American Airlines Latin Club, and UNICEF, who will be on-site to receive all direct funds for the project.
Boricua Strong Benefit will not only serve as a fundraiser, but a celebration of Puerto Rican culture. That will include a car show which will feature an array of exotic, vintage, and luxury cars, food provided by A Taste of Puerto Rico and Hazel’s Back Porch, and live music from Latin DJs Orlando’s DJ Marvin Zurrenda representing Puerto Rico and DeeJayX of Buenos Aires.
Supply donations will be accepted. Supplies that are needed include baby formula, baby wipes, baby and adult pain relief medicine, blankets, bottled water, canned foods, canned and dry pet food, canned milk, cots, diapers, dish soap, first-aid kits, dry foods, garbage bags, hand sanitizer, laundry detergents, mosquito repellant, pillows, stomach and diarrhea relief medicine.
