Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth presents Language of the Soul

Named one of the greatest string quartets of the last 100 years by BBC Music Magazine, the Dover Quartet is making its third appearance on a CMSFW Concert Series. Since its founding in 2013, the Dover has become one of the most in-demand chamber ensembles in the world. The Dover Quartet, the Penelope P. Watkins Ensemble in Residence at Curtis Institute of Music, is comprised of Joel Link, violin; Bryan Lee, violin; Milena Pajar-van de Stadt, viola; and Camden Shaw, cello.

Selections include Turina's La oracion del torero, Op. 34; Janáček's String Quartet No. 2 “Intimate Letters”; and Schubert's String Quartet in D minor “Death of the Maiden” D 810.

The concert is preceded by a pre-concert conversation at 1:15 pm.
