Fort Worth Stockyards will present Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off Celebration, featuring live music, a parade, and an equestrian spectacular.
The Fiestas Patrias Celebration will commence with performances from the Infinite Daze Music Academy’s kids mariachi band and Ballet Folklorico de Fort Worth. After the iconic Stockyards cattle drive, Consul General of Mexico Francisco de la Torre Galindo and City Councilman Carlos Flores will open the Ceremonia de Grito, followed by the Hispanic Heritage Celebration Parade.
After the parade, visitors can grab a margarita and enjoy the live music and entertainment happening throughout the district. Later in the day, visitors can enjoy Mexico en la Sangre showcase which brings Hispanic culture to the heart of Fort Worth. The two-hour spectacular will feature dancing horses, Charros, Folkorico dancers, mariachis, and more.
