To open its season, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will perform Jean Sibelius’ patriotic Finlandia, a work protesting Russian censorship with a glorious hymn, before continuing with another Nordic masterpiece, Edvard Grieg’s famous Piano Concerto. The showcase piece of the concert will be Brahms' Symphony No. 4. The concert will be conducted by Robert Spano and feature pianist Stephen Hough.

Before each symphonic concert, FWSO Principal Keyboard Buddy Bray offers a pre-concert lecture to dive deeper into the works, their history, and other fun concert-related facts.
