eventdetail

In an all-too-common turn of events, Mussorgsky’s grandiose "Pictures at an Exhibition" far outstrips the original paintings. The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra will bring this masterpiece to life with Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya. Cellist Raphaela Gromes performs Schumann’s sublime and enigmatic "Cello Concerto" in her U.S. debut, and the concert opens with Schubert’s Overture to his romantic opera Alfonso and Estrella.
