The concert will highlight Tchaikovsky's final symphony, known as the “Pathetique” for its brooding melancholy tone. Tchaikovsky poured his whole soul into this emotionally turbulent work. Also on the program are Strauss’ delicate waltz medley "Roses from the South" and Piston’s colorful and humorous Suite from The Incredible Flutist.

The concert will be under the direction of David Danzmayr.
