Gerald Bell rapidly gained recognition in Fort Worth following his debut solo exhibition at Gallery 440 in 2021. Since then, his work has been featured in several galleries across Fort Worth and Dallas, and has been celebrated for his use of vibrant colors, bold strokes and exaggerated characters.

His subject matter often consists of people in his personal life, animals, anime, and a wide variety of fictional characters. Bell's work frequently juxtaposes seemingly cheerful imagery with darker, rebellious undertones using mixed media and a raw, spray-painted style.
