Artist Ashley Collins is returning to Fort Worth after a decade to unveil a masterwork that has been over 25 years in the making, along with a collection of other masterpieces during this public exhibition.
Started over 25 years ago while Collins was enduring homelessness, a never-before-seen masterpiece will be revealed at the public exhibition, where Collins will be joyfully meeting with guests and collectors. Collins has spent her career defying odds and setting new peaks for Contemporary art, rightfully earning her spot at our very own Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
Collins and her art embody everything that makes Western culture what it is. Symbols of grit, perseverance, magic, and rawness come together to form these awe-inspiring masterworks, which will be displayed at the show. Internationally reaching, Collins is collected by figures such as Lady Gaga and "Doc" Rivers, however it is her strong community of support here in Fort Worth that makes her work so meaningful to us.
Fighting her way through some of the deepest trenches imaginable, Collins has risen to the top, and continues to use her platform for good. Her work becomes a reminder that in the midst of challenging circumstances, and in the triumph of massive success, we can remain compassionate for one another.
