Giddens Gallery of Fine Art in Grapevine presents the new exhibition “Taking Flight,” featuring works by artists Betty Watkins & Betty Grummer.
Artist statement: "Finding ourselves reaching for greater heights of expression in each work, we regard each painting as ‘Taking Flight’ with our dream for the painting. Our search in the work is to fulfill the dreams we have for that piece. The progression, ‘flying higher,’ makes the piece more meaningful to ourselves and others. We purpose to constantly attain greater heights with each new work.”
There will be an artists reception on December 5 at 6 pm.
