Chef Richard Sandoval at Toro Toro Fort Worth will honor the history and heritage of Hispanic and Latin traditions at this special event, which will usher in Dia de los Muertos with Mayan flavors and a traditional Ceremony.
Guests can enjoy a colorful four-course brunch menu by Chef Sandoval and a blessing of the Seven Directions by Mayan Priest and Ancestral Medicine practitioner Nataline Cruz. Cruz will also discuss the Copal Ceremony in which she burns the tree resin of pre-Columbian Meso-American tribes used for healing. Cruz’s ceremony will encompass honoring our ancestral heritage and paying tribute to our loved ones who have passed.
