Independence Gardens will host an exclusive screening of A Fine Line, an acclaimed documentary that explores why less than 7 percent of head chefs and restaurant owners are women despite having traditionally held the central role in the kitchen.

Food Network’s first female Iron Chef, Cat Cora, will join a cadre of the most talented and influential female chefs in Dallas for a Wine & Dine event. Other chefs will include Chef Tiffany Derry, Chef Uno Immanivong, Chef Casey Nicole, Chef Jennifer Bajsel, Yasmin Wages of Malai Kitchen, and more. Proceeds from the evening will support Independence Gardens’ nutrition education programs, including their chef-driven, student-led cooking program, Come and Eat IT!
