The Fort Worth Runners Club partners with the City of Fort Worth and the EPA on the annual Chasing Leaks 5K to encourage residents to fix leaks and help low-income families pay their water bills.

The race will be followed by Earth Party, the largest green event in Fort Worth. The event includes live music from Bow Wow Wow, including their smash hit, “I Want Candy,” along with The Bluebonnets and Zuriel Merek. It also features the Trashion recycled fashion show, Ballet Sol Folklorico, JackFM, T-shirt toss, and more. Fifty exhibitors will be on hand, featuring everything sustainable, including interactive solar panel demonstrations.

Keep Fort Worth Beautiful and thousands of volunteers across the city will participate in the 34th annual Cowtown Great American Cleanup, their largest annual litter cleanup and beautification event. Every year, organizations, businesses and individuals pick up litter from parks, streets, creeks and other public areas. In 2018, these hard-working volunteers removed over 140,000 pounds of trash from their communities.
