With an incredible passion and eye for design, Stella Alesi's work stretches across numerous styles and mediums, including drawing, painting, collage, photography and large-scale wall pieces. In her practice, Alesi tests the boundaries of what it means to be an artist and explore new approaches and visual languages. Her work emphasizes the importance of failure as a way to move forward in the act of creation. This practice and encouragement of failure is Alesi’s way of challenging the systems of "taught" art and the established structures of cultural and artistic institutions.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on view through October 10.
