Fort Worth blues singer Matt Tedder will perform a solo set at Kimbell Social Club happy hour. Chef-prepared hors d'oeuvres and half-price drinks (including $3 cans of local craft beer from HopFusion Aleworks) will be available for purchase at the Pavilion Café.
A Fort Worth native, Tedder picked up the guitar at the age of 10 and instantly became known as a prodigy. Tedder rose to fame on season 10 of The Voice after living in Nashville, Tennessee. After The Voice, Tedder came home and fell in love with the growing music scene in Dallas-Fort Worth. Tedder's sound is heavily influenced by rock-and-roll and blues crooners, which is apparent in both his solo and band performances. Tedder's band, The Matt Tedder Trio, recently announced a fourth band member and a name change to the Polydogs.
Kimbell Social Club convenes on selected Friday evenings for a showcase of live music, hearty snacks and happy hour-priced local beer. Kimbell Social Club is a free event open to all. This event is presented in partnership with the Fort Worth Weekly and HopFusion Ale Works.
