Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth will present Tuesday Evenings at the Modern Lecture Series, which features lectures and presentations by artists, architects, historians.

  • September 20 - Chief Curator Andrea Karnes shares insights and observations from "Women Painting Women."
  • September 27 - Artist Justin Adian speaks about the Modern’s Sidewinder, 2019, within the context of his career.
  • October 4 - Artist Linda Ridgway ties together concepts, passions, and their sources within her evolving approach to artmaking in her talk “A Story and the Poet: Line by Line.”
  • October 11 - Carol Ross Barney, FAIA, HASLA, lead juror for the FWAIA Annual Design Award, discusses the evolving discourse of architecture’s role today.
  • October 18 - Michael Auping, former Chief Curator, and Andrea Karnes, current Chief Curator, discuss the rich and generous legacy of the Modern’s longtime patron Anne Windfohr Marion.
