Spectrum Chamber Music Society presents Spectrum Downtown Fall Concert

eventdetail

Spectrum Chamber Music Society will present an eclectic blend of "old world" and "new world" chamber music, performed by musicians of the Fort Worth Symphony and friends.

The program opens with a work for oboe, bassoon, and piano that features a marriage of the musical styles of Spain and the Native American Hopi. This will be followed by another American wind piece for flute, clarinet and piano, that musically depicts four different outdoor spaces. Next will be the elegance of Mozart, performed by the sonorous voices of bassoon and cello; and the program will dance its way to the finish with three tangos, the sultry dance from Argentina, performed by string quintet.
