Sundance Square will host the official tree lighting ceremony of the tallest live Christmas Tree in Texas. Fort Worth’s 2024 Christmas Tree is an 82-foot (six stories) tall Norway Spruce from Cadillac, Michigan, which is eight feet taller than this year’s Christmas Tree in Rockefeller Center. The tree features 2-foot-in-diameter hand-painted ornaments by more than 100 local artists.
A "Have Yourself a Very Mariachi Christmas” concert will precede the tree lighting countdown, performed by Mariachi Herencia De Mexicon. The emcee will be NBC5 News Anchor and Fort Worth’s own Deborah Ferguson.
