Two-time Grammy Award-winning American mezzo-soprano J’Nai Bridges has graced the world’s leading operatic and concert stages. Recent highlights include her role debut as Maddalena in Verdi’s Rigoletto and performing the role of Mary in a new production of John Adams’ El Niño both at The Metropolitan Opera, a return to the Seattle Opera in her role debut as Didon in Les Troyens, and the title role in Carmen in her debut at the Wiener Staatsoper and the Teatro Real in Madrid.
At this concert, she will transport audiences to turn-of-the-century Paris in an evening celebrating La Belle Époque, a golden age of innovation and art that brought us Impressionist painting, poetry by Verlaine and Rimbaud, the Paris Metro, and many enchanting songs. She'll perform the works of Berlioz, Debussy, Satie, and Ravel.
