Epps first gained fame playing Q in Ernest Dickerson’s film Juice, and he has since starred in Love & Basketball and the TV shows House and This Is Us. He's currently, starring in Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
Epps is also the author of the memoir From Fatherless to Fatherhood, and two novels in the Nubia series, Nubia: The Awakening and Nubia: The Reckoning, written alongside Clarence A. Haynes.
