Theatre Arlington continues having "Fun in the Footlights" with the “spirited” comedy, Blithe Spirit, just in time for Halloween. Playwright Noel Coward penned this comic masterpiece 75 years ago and its playful mockery of love and marriage is still enjoyed by audiences the world over.

Enter the wealthy and cantankerous novelist, Charles Condomine, who has remarried Ruth, a strong-willed, straight-laced woman. In order to do research for his next book, they invite wacky, self-proclaimed psychic, Madame Arcati, into their home for a séance. But his research experiment goes terribly wrong, when the ghost of his dead wife, the flirtatious and catty, Elvira appears. Charles rather enjoys having his two loves battle it out for his affections and it seems to be all fun and games. That is, until mayhem ensues, producing calamitous yet hilarious results for all.
