As the 2016 presidential field narrows and candidates leave party politics behind for the national competition, the World Affairs Council presents CNN Presidential Historian Dr. Douglas Brinkley in an examination of the quirks, challenges and consequences of this extraordinary election campaign.

Dr. Brinkley, a best-selling presidential author and history professor at Rice University, joins the Council for two conversations examining the presidential politics of 2016, predicting whose campaign trail may be the actual path to the White House and considering what could go wrong or right for a candidate along the way.

The conversation will be moderated by author Talmage Boston, a member of the World Affairs Council board of directors.
