Fort Worth's shot for single tickets to Hamilton is imminent
Single tickets for Hamilton, running June 9-28, 2020 at Bass Performance Hall, will go on sale to the public on November 15, producer Jeffery Seller and Performing Arts Fort Worth have revealed.
Ticket sales, which will start at 7 am, will be available at basshall.com and in person at the Bass Performance Hall Box Office at 525 Commerce Street. Wristbands will be required to purchase tickets in person and will be distributed at the Bass Hall Box Office from 10 am-4 pm on November 14. There will be no phone sales for the production.
“There are many sites and people who are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets," Seller says in a release. "For the best seats, the best prices, and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the Fort Worth engagement should be made through basshall.com."
There is a maximum purchase limit of nine tickets per household for the engagement. Ticket prices range from $69 to $189, with a select number of $399 premium seats available for all performances. Prices do not include ticket surcharges and fees.
As with all Hamilton engagements, there will be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances; details of the lottery will be announced closer to the show's run.
The Broadway smash hit is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary.
Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now.
