Because CultureMap is committed to highlighting the good work Fort Worth nonprofits do to make an impact in our community, we are partnering with Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty on the inaugural Charity Challenge.
Together, we selected eight deserving organizations, and now you get to decide which one will be our charity partner for 2016. You can vote in the Charity Challenge poll from now until 11:59 pm on December 31. The winner receives a CultureMap advertising package worth $10,000.

The Art Station is a nonprofit organization offering individual and group art therapy and community programs to children and adults. Its mission is to provide a safe and encouraging environment where art making can be used to promote personal growth, uplift hearts, and help heal minds and bodies.
Gill Children’s Services is a funding source that provides a safety net for Tarrant County children whose medical, dental, physical, social, psychological, and educational needs have not been met by other community resources.
Humane Society of North Texas serves more than 25,000 animals annually through its crucial programs, including emergency animal rescue, humane investigations, low-cost spay and neuter services, a feral cat TNR program, owner surrenders, lost and found services, and animal adoptions.
James L. West serves people with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and their families. The center is dedicated to providing individualized care and support to enhance the quality and dignity of each person’s life throughout the course of the disease.
Manna Worldwide is a Christian organization that focuses on caring for impoverished children around the world. Its objective is not only to feed them for a season, but also to help develop more complete communities .
Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County's mission is to promote the dignity and independence of older adults, persons with disabilities, and other homebound persons by delivering nutritious meals and providing or coordinating needed services.
Samaritan House creates a supportive community providing housing and resources for positive change in the lives of persons living with HIV/AIDS and other special needs.
The Women's Center of Tarrant County is a nonprofit organization that helps women and families overcome violence, crisis, and poverty. Founded in 1979, the Women's Center currently serves more than 95,000 women, men, and children annually through four major programs.
