Presidential candidate Nikki Haley to hold campaign rally in Fort Worth
Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley is set to visit Fort Worth in the latest of her campaign stops ahead of the March 5 primary election.
A rally is scheduled for March 4 at 6:30 pm at Tannahill's Tavern & Music Hall at 122 East Exchange Ave. #200. Admission is free, and tickets can be reserved here.
Haley, a former U.N. ambassador and South Carolina governor, is the only remaining Republican challenger to former president Donald Trump, who is currently leading her in polls and has won all previous presidential primaries this year.
She recently appointed two familiar names to her Texas campaign team: former Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and former U.S. Congressman Will Hurd.
The Fort Worth rally follows Haley’s campaign stop at Gilley’s in Dallas on February 15, where she attracted hundreds of supporters.
This year’s primary election will be held March 5, and the last day to register to vote was February 5 (you can see if you are currently registered here). Early voting for the primary was held February 20-March 1.
On election day, all polling places across Texas are open 7 am-7 pm. As long as you get in line before 7 pm, you will be able to vote. More information on where to vote, plus what to bring with you to the polls, is available here.
