Trinity Metro's newest bus line will have passengers thinking pink. The transit agency has introduced a new color-coded bus line, called La Línea Rosa, which will take customers to La Gran Plaza in south Fort Worth.

Revealed at the Visit Fort Worth Annual Meeting at the Fort Worth Convention Center on Friday March 6, the new line will be begin service in fall 2026.

An colorful announcement set to Latin music on Trinity Metro's Facebook page says La Linea Rosa will specifically connect from downtown Fort Worth to La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth, a Hispanic-themed retail development at 4200 S. Freeway at East Seminary Drive.

Trinity Metro’s color-coded bus lines are meant to help passenger easily identify routes and connections. They also reflect the identity and energy of the communities they serve, the agency says.

The first one, the Orange Line, launched with service to the Fort Worth Stockyards in September 2024. Buses feature bright orange exteriors, Western themed artwork, cowprint seats, and other nods to Fort Worth’s heritage.

The free Blue Line was added in June 2025, connecting hot spots across downtown with key transit centers in the city.

“Our color-coded bus lines are about clarity and pride,” said Rich Andreski, President and CEO of Trinity Metro, in a statement. “When someone can say ‘take the Orange Line’ or ‘ride the Blue Line,’ it becomes intuitive and it becomes part of the Fort Worth experience."

More details about La Linea Rosa will be available soon, the agency says.
