With (hopefully) one last frigid weekend before spring appears, people may need a good reason to get out of their houses. There are definitely some worthy events, including two new art exhibitions, a trio of classical concerts, an exhibition celebrating butterflies, two country music concerts, motorcycle racing, and more.
Below are the best ways to spend your precious free time this weekend.

Amon Carter Museum of American Art presents "Printing the Revolution: The Rise and Impact of Chicano Graphics, 1965 to Now"
In the 1960s, Chicano activist artists forged a remarkable history of printmaking rooted in cultural expression and social justice movements that remains vital today. The exhibition "Printing the Revolution: The Rise and Impact of Chicano Graphics, 1965 to Now" presents, for the first time, historical civil rights-era prints by Chicano artists alongside works by graphic artists working from the 1980s to today. The exhibit includes 119 works ranging from traditional screenprints to digital graphics and augmented reality works to site-specific installations, by more than 74 artists of Mexican descent and other artists who were active in Chicanx networks. The exhibition will remain on display through May 8.
Cliburn Concerts: Karim Sulayman, Danbi Um, and Juho Pohjonen (UPDATE: Due to weather conditions affecting the travel of the musicians, these concerts have been canceled.)
Tenor Karim Sulayman joins forces with violinist Danbi Um and pianist Juho Pohjonen for two performances as part of the Cliburn Concerts series. The trio, who rarely perform together, will present two evenings of romantic songs and chamber works. Audiences can choose between a full recital program at the Kimbell Art Museum on Thursday and an informal experience at the Post at River East on Saturday.

Fort Worth Botanic Garden presents Butterflies in the Garden
Fort Worth Botanic Garden’s Rainforest Conservatory will present "Butterflies in the Garden," the largest exhibit of live, exotic butterflies in north central Texas. The six-week event, on display through April 10, will feature educational programs, exhibits, gift shop items, and more designed to enhance the visitor experience. A variety of different butterflies will be featured, including the ever-popular Blue Morpho.
Magnolia at the Modern: Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America
Interweaving lecture, personal anecdotes, interviews, and shocking revelations, criminal defense/civil rights lawyer Jeffery Robinson draws a stark timeline of anti-Black racism in the United States, from slavery to the modern myth of a post-racial America in this new documentary. The film will screen seven times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Opera presents "Opera Jukebox"
Fort Worth Opera’s Hattie Mae Lesley resident artists and special guests will take the stage at Downtown Cowtown at the Isis for an evening of classic hits, jazz, musical theater, opera, and crowd-pleasing duets. The performers, which will include Brandon Bell, Megan Koch, Gabrielle Gilliam, Kayla Nanto, and Ndumiso Nyoka, will let the audience choose part of the program, with a few exciting surprises thrown in for fun.
Justin Moore in concert
Country singer Justin Moore has been a big success ever since his debut album in 2009. That No. 3 album on the Billboard Country charts was followed by three straight No. 1 albums and another one that went to No. 2. Moore comes back to Fort Worth in support of his latest album, 2021's Straight Outta the Country. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth presents "Recent Acquisitions 2002-2022"
The Modern begins its 20th year in its Tadao Ando-designed galleries with a permanent collection installation focused on works acquired since the building’s opening. Both floors will showcase paintings, photographs, sculptures, and videos by artists from a wide range of cultures and geographies. Artists included in the exhibition, on display through April 24, include Takashi Murakami, Andy Warhol, Eddie Martinez, Ed Ruscha, Kamrooz Aram, Shirin Neshat, Kehinde Wiley, and more.
Monster Energy AMA Supercross
Monster Energy Supercross is the most competitive and highest-profile off-road motorcycle racing championship in the world today. Part aerial excitement, part high-speed chase, Supercross was founded and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association in 1974 and is currently co-sanctioned by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme, the official global governing body for motorcycle racing, thus making it a formal World Championship. The event will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents A Gala Evening with Sarah Chang
The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra's Gala Evening will feature violinist Sarah Chang, who will take the stage at Bass Performance Hall for the first time with the orchestra, performing Dvorak's Violin Concerto. Other selections for the one-night-only concert include Kodàly's Dances of Galánta and Ravel's Boléro.
Wade Bowen in concert
Texas country/Red Dirt singer Wade Bowen has slowly but surely been making his way up in the industry, scoring three top 10 albums in recent years. He's recently collaborated with Randy Rogers on three separate albums, including 2020's Hold My Beer, Vol. 2. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.
