While the majority of events around Fort Worth have either been postponed or canceled, there are a few that have popped up to offer the masses some entertainment while still adhering to the social distancing necessary during the coronavirus pandemic.
Below are the best ways to spend your free time this weekend. While they're not all outside of the house, they all promise to provide a nice distraction from the everyday life.

Casa Mañana presents "A Tribute to The King: Taylor Rodriguez"
Taylor Rodriguez will light up audiences with his infectious energy and the songs that take them back to the time of the King, Elvis Presley. This spectacular tribute to the King of Rock-n-Roll, which has three more performances through Saturday, will feature songs like “Hound Dog,” “Love Me Tender,” "Jailhouse Rock,” and more. Originally scheduled for the smaller Reid Cabaret Theatre, the performances will be in the main auditorium at Casa Mañana, with proper social distancing measures in place.

Improv Arlington presents Eddie Griffin
A popular comedian-turned-actor who started his career on-stage as a dare, funnyman Eddie Griffin has built an ever-growing fan base since jumping onto the comedy scene in 1990. He has a long filmography, including appearances in The Meteor Man, Undercover Brother, and A Star is Born. He'll perform four stand-up shows through Saturday at Improv Arlington.

Country singer Tracy Byrd was part of the early 1990s country boom alongside acts like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and more. He became a success thanks to hits like "Holdin' Heaven," "Lifestyles of the Not So Rich and Famous," "Watermelon Crawl," "The Keeper of the Stars," and more. He's released 10 albums in his career, with the most recent being 2016's All American Texan. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

Casey Donahew in concert
Country singer Casey Donahew had a nice run of success on the national country music scene, charting four straight albums in the top 10 on the Billboard Country charts in the 2010s, including the No. 3 All Night Party. He hasn't let the time of quarantine slow him down, releasing an all-acoustic album, Lost My Brothers Goat, earlier this year. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

With school starting, the end of summer is nigh, which means you only have a few more weeks to enjoy Sunday Funday at Panther Island Pavilion. As always, visitors can have a day of relaxation and fun in the sun, with pedal boats available to rent. There will also be acoustic live music shows, yoga classes, dog adoptions, and food, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
