The latest event cancellations in Dallas-Fort Worth due to coronavirus concerns

As concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus and government restrictions on group gatherings continue, more event cancellations, postponements, and reschedulings are being announced every day in Dallas-Fort Worth. In an effort to keep you as up-to-date as possible, we'll compile a list of different announcements every week.
Even though new in-person and virtual events are on the uptick, you may want to check with the presenting organization or venue regarding the status of any particular event to be sure you're up to speed.
Fort Worth
- Amphibian Stage Productions presents Egress: The theater company's production, scheduled for October 28-November 15, has been postponed to undetermined dates.
- Bell Fort Worth Alliance Air Show: The annual air show will still take place as scheduled, October 17-18 at Fort Worth Alliance Airport, but it has transitioned into a drive-in event, with all spectators watching from their cars or from an adjoining space where they can set up chairs or blankets.
- Casa Mañana presents Carole Bufford - Come Together: When the '60s Meet the '70s: This cabaret-style show, originally scheduled for April 28-May 2 and then rescheduled for October 6-10, has been pushed up to September 15-19. The show will now take place in the reconfigured main auditorium at Casa Mañana.
- Fort Worth Camera presents Foto Fest: This annual event celebrating photography and cameras, originally scheduled for May 1-8 at various venues in Fort Worth and then rescheduled for October 9-18, has been canceled. It will return during its normal dates in May 2021.
- Ladder Alliance presents It's in the Bag: This charity event, scheduled for September 17 at Stockyards Station, has been rescheduled for April 29, 2021.
- Pate Swap Meet: The event about everything automotive, originally scheduled April 30-May 2 and then rescheduled for October 1-4, has been canceled. It will return at its normal dates in April 2021.
- Taste of Clearfork: The foodie event, scheduled for October at The Shops at Clearfork, has been canceled.
Dallas
- Dallas Summer Musicals: The theater organization has postponed Jersey Boys, scheduled November 10-22 at the Music Hall at Fair Park, and Oklahoma!, scheduled for December 9-20 at Winspear Opera House. Both productions will be rescheduled at a later date, but will still remain part of DSM’s 2021 season.
- Jackopierce: This concert, scheduled for September 12 at Trees, has been rescheduled for April 10, 2021.
- They Might Be Giants: This concert, scheduled for October 23 at House of Blues Dallas, has been rescheduled for June 25, 2021.
- Welcome to Night Vale: The appearance by the popular podcast, scheduled for October 11 at The Texas Theatre, has been rescheduled for April 23, 2021.
- World Food Championships: The foodie event, scheduled for November 6-10 at Fair Park, has been canceled. It will return November 5-9, 2021.
Addison
- Firefly Run: This illuminated nighttime run, scheduled for October 10 at Vitruvian Park, has been transitioned into a virtual event.
