Pat Green in concert
After rising through Texas' dancehall scene years ago, Pat Green earned himself major label support in Nashville and became the poster child of Texas music for a whole generation of fans. Green’s explosive live shows have made him a fan favorite, and the San Antonio native and Fort Worth resident has sold over 2 million albums and been nominated for three Grammy Awards. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas on both Thursday and Friday.
Jack Ingram in concert
Over the past 25 years, country singer Jack Ingram has become such a big part of the Texas music landscape that he's even teamed up with two other Texas celebrities — former UT football coach Mack Brown and actor Matthew McConaughey — for an annual fundraiser event in Austin. He's also released 10 albums in his career, including 2019's Ridin' High ... Again. He'll play at Arlington Music Hall.

Magnolia at the Modern: Billie
In 1971, journalist Linda Lipnack Kuehl set out to write the definitive biography of Billie Holiday. Over eight years, she tracked down and tape-recorded more than 200 hours of interviews with the extraordinary characters that populated the iconic singer's short, tumultuous life. However, Kuehl’s book was never finished and the tapes never heard — until now. The documentary will screen five times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Texas country/Red Dirt singer Wade Bowen has slowly but surely been making his way up in the industry, scoring three top 10 albums in recent years. He's recently collaborated with Randy Rogers on three separate albums, including 2020's Hold My Beer, Vol. 2. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.

The Cliburn presents Cliburn at Home
The Cliburn's virtual series will wrap up 2020 with one last edition of the Cliburn Masterpiece series, which examines the who, what, when, where, and how of the greatest piano works. Host Buddy Bray will lead viewers through the story of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition — the composer, the background, the narrative, the characters, the technical difficulties, and more. The episode will end with a performance of the piece by Daniel Hsu, 2017 Cliburn bronze.
Luminova Holidays
After taking a break due to the rodeo being in town, Luminova will start up again. Visitors will be able to view millions of twinkling lights, take to the ice on an outdoor rink, and snap selfie-worthy pics. The sprawling indoor and outdoor wonderland, located at Globe Life Field in Arlington through January 3, marks the first event to be open to the general public at the new stadium. It also includes appearances by Santa Claus, a 65-foot Christmas tree, interactive activities like light up hopscotch, train rides for the kids, strolling holiday entertainers, and booths with food and special mementos.
