Country star Alan Jackson brings final tour to Fort Worth
Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson will go on the road for a final time with his Last Call: One More for the Road tour, which includes a stop at Dickies Arena on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
The limited tour is only going to 10 cities, and Jackson is taking his sweet time with it, playing essentially one show a month between August 24 in Boston, Massachusetts, and the finale in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 17, 2025.
Fort Worth is the only Texas stop on the tour.
Jackson - a three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year - will appropriately fill each concert with his list of hits, of which there are many. Over the course of his career, he notched 25 No. 1 songs and 24 more that made the top 10.
“Fans know when they come to my shows, they’re going to hear the songs that made me who I am – the ones they love,” Jackson said in a statement.
Jackson's retirement from touring comes as the 65-year-old, who's now a grandfather, has expressed his desire to spend more time at home. He's also dealing with CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth), a chronic neuropathy condition that he first revealed in 2021.
A dollar from every ticket sold for the tour will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, and each dollar will be matched by a generous group of CMTRF donors.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday, June 7 at 9 am local time via Ticketmaster.com. Fans can purchase early via on Thursday, June 6 from 10 am to 10 pm with the unlock code LASTCALL.
