Spring is here, and in addition to the budding flowers and trees, there are plenty of festivals on the horizon to anticipate. With cold weather in the rearview, it's time to start thinking about breaking out the shorts and sundresses to get out and have a good time.

Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival (April 3-6)
The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival takes attendees on a journey through the flavors of Panther City’s most daring and beloved culinary figures. Expert chefs and restaurateurs pair over 100 wines, craft beers, and spirits with elevated dishes. The festival includes fan-favorite events such as Tacos and Tequila, The Main Event, Rise + Dine, Burgers, Brews + Blues, and Ring of Fire.
38th Annual Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival (April 10-13)
The 38th annual Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival spans 18 square blocks in Sundance Square in the heart of the city. It will feature four days of art, live music, interactive family activities, and a wide array of culinary options. Headlining performers will include Jackie Venson, The Inspiration Band, tributed band Def Leggend, and Texas Latino.
Fort Worth Art Fair (April 10-13)
Art fair runs concurrently with the Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival, designed to provide Fort Worth and North Texas artists and musicians with a place to showcase their talent. There will be a variety of local galleries and exhibits and a music stage featuring many local bands and musicians.
Syndicate Smokedown & Music Festival (April 11)
The Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate's 4th annual Smokedown & Music Festival at Panther Island Pavilion will feature samples from some of the best barbecue joints around. There will also be music from headliners Treaty Oak Revival, as well as 49 Winchester, Braxton Keith, Shelby Stone, The Georges, The Derailers, and Dale Watson.
Southlake Women's Club presents Art in the Square (April 25-27)
Southlake Town Square's annual Art in the Square is a weekend of art, music, food, spirits, and children’s activities. The event showcases the artwork of 150 juried renowned artists, and also includes the Youth Art tent featuring artwork from high school students of Northeast Tarrant County. There will also be live music performances throughout the weekend.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden presents Spring Japanese Festival (April 26-27)
Spring Japanese Festival at Fort Worth Botanic Garden features cultural demonstrations, tea ceremonies, martial arts performances, and a performance by the Cherry Blossom Children’s Choir. Visitors can also discover unique shopping opportunities, authentic Japanese dishes prepared by members of the Fort Worth Japanese Society, and the Garden's "Cracking Art" exhibit.
Ubbi Dubbi Festival (April 26-27)
Annual Ubbi Dubbi Festival is a two-day event at Panther Island Pavilion featuring performances by over 40 electronic music artists. Performers at this year's festival will include Canabliss, Borgore, Gravedgr, Lumasi, Subtronics, Mattilo, and more.
Fort Worth Aviation Museum presents Hops and Props Beerfest (April 26)
Fort Worth Aviation Museum's annual craft beer tasting festival will feature local brewers, live music, food, family-friendly vendors, airplane rides, games, activities, and more. It will also showcase many veteran support organizations and family vendors. The museum's primary annual fundraiser supports their educational and preservation programs.
Trinity Collaborative presents Mayfest (May 1-4)
Annual four-day family festival at Trinity Park features live music, festival food, carnival rides, performing arts, pet adoptions, more than 60 art and gift market vendors, children's activities, special attractions, and more. More than 50 local and regional bands will play on three stages, and local schools and organizations will put on performances like tap dancing, martial arts, ballet, hip-hop, storytelling, and more.
Lone Star Smokeout (May 2-4)
Three-day country music and BBQ festival at AT&T Stadium in Arlington will feature some top country music artists, including Jon Pardi, Cody Jinks, Midland, Randy Rogers Band, Eli Young Band, Kaitlin Butts, and more. Top barbecue spots from around the state will be on hand, including Panther City BBQ, Slow Bone BBQ, Salt Lick BBQ, Black’s BBQ, Curry Boys BBQ, and more.
Post Malone's Travelin' Tailgate (May 9)
Free daytime event takes place directly before Post Malone's concert at at AT&T Stadium. Running from 12-6 pm, it will feature live music, food, beer, merch, carnival games, photo opportunities, and tattoos by Posty’s personal tattoo artists from Oxford Circle Tattoos. Plus, one lucky fan will ride away with a 2025 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Tickets to that night's concert are not required.
City of Grapevine presents 41st Annual Main Street Fest (May 16-18)
Historic Downtown Grapevine will be home to the 41st Annual Main Street Fest, a family-friendly festival featuring live music, craft brew and wine experiences, food, and unique shopping. Visitors can enjoy the Carnival and Midway, explore the KidZone and experience Texan-sized fun all weekend long.
Tacos & Tequila Festival (May 17)
Tacos & Tequila Festival at Panther Island Pavilion is actually most notable for its huge live music showcase, with performances by Busta Rhymes, Timbaland, Trina, Trick Daddy, Frankie J, Mims, DJ Ashton Martin, and more. It will also feature some of Dallas-Fort Worth’s best taco chefs and restaurants, handcrafted margaritas, Lucha Libre wrestling, a chihuahua beauty pageant, salsa & queso competition, and more.
