Enigmatic singer Morrissey sets Fort Worth date on 2026 tour

The ever-mysterious singer Morrissey will embark on a world tour in 2026, with the U.S. leg including a stop at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth on Thursday, October 29.

Following a 12-show summer in Europe and a four-show Las Vegas residency, Morrissey will start his U.S. dates in Buffalo, New York on September 22, with another 12 dates scheduled over a little less than two months.

Texas fans will be the beneficiaries of three of those concerts, as Houston on November 1 and El Paso on November 6 will join the Fort Worth date.

The tour is in support of Morrissey's new album, Make-Up is a Lie, which was released in March, as well the EP Deluxe Notre-Dame, which is set for release on June 19.

Morrissey is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in British pop, starting as the co-founder and lead singer of The Smiths, with which he recorded indelible songs like “This Charming Man,” “How Soon Is Now?,” “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out,” and more.

Now fans will have to wait with bated breath to see if the singer will actually make any of those dates, as he is notorious for canceling shows with little-to-no explanation.

Fort Worth fans can purchase tickets early via the venue presale on Thursday, April 30 from 10 am to 10 pm via Ticketmaster.com with unlock code DICKIES.

General public tickets go on sale on Friday May 1 at 12 pm via Ticketmaser.com.

Magical Harry Potter drone show zooms into Dallas-Fort Worth on world tour

DroneArt Show: Harry Potter will come to Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium on July 27 and 28.

Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and Fever are teaming up to present DroneArt Show: Harry Potter, which will come to Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium on July 24-25.

The first-of-its-kind open-air drone spectacle will be on an international tour in 2026, going to multiple cities in the U.S. and Europe as part of the 25 Years of Magic celebrations for the Harry Potter movie series, which started in 2001.

In addition to Grand Prairie, the drone display will go to San Antonio on May 29-30, Austin on June 5-6, and Houston suburb Sugar Land on August 7-8.

According to a release, the 60-minute show will blend advanced drone choreography with the music and iconic moments from the Harry Potter film series, featuring 1,200 illuminated drones soaring across the night sky.

A live violinist will perform as memorable moments from the films are reimagined through aerial displays set to the soundtrack and dialogue from the films.

As part of the experience, attendees will also wear LED wristbands that allow them to interact further with the magic of the performance.

Audiences can also enjoy a celebratory wizarding world-inspired pre-show atmosphere, including food and beverage offerings, as well as Harry Potter merchandise.

Fans can join the waiting list now via the Fever app and website to secure early access to the upcoming dates.
