1. Supermarket chain H-E-B has good news about store at Alliance Fort Worth. Supermarket giant H-E-B continues its expansion in Dallas-Fort Worth, with progress on two major projects. The chain will officially open the doors of H-E-B Alliance located at 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy. in Fort Worth on April 10.
2. Fort Worth's opulent new Blue Room is a fine-dining experience fit for royalty. The most opulent fine-dining experience in Fort Worth is now open inside The Crescent Hotel. It’s The Blue Room, which hides inside Emilia’s behind frosted glass doors that open to reveal a small but stunning space that seems fit for royalty.
3. McDonald's to open its first CosMc's beverage spinoff in Fort Worth. McDonald's is debuting a new concept called CosMc's focused on beverages, with its first location to open in Fort Worth. According to a release, the smaller-sized beverage-led drink shop will open in Watauga, at 7304 Denton Hwy. on April 2.
4. Fort Worth's 10 best patios for dining and drinking al fresco in 2024. Patio choices are numerous in Fort Worth, but these 10 nominees for Tastemaker Awards' Best Patio stand out for their visually appealing atmospheres, sky-high views, comfortable seating areas, good food and drink, or all of the above. Only one will win this wild card category at the annual CultureMap Fort Worth Tastemaker Awards, taking place May 2 at The 4 Eleven (411 S. Main St.).
5. Cajun restaurant with a special thing for sausage to open in Arlington. A new family-owned restaurant centered on Cajun cuisine is opening in Arlington: Called Beaux Boudin, it'll be a takeout-only place specializing in boudin sausage, plus Cajun and Creole dishes, and is opening in late March at 1821 S. Fielder Rd., in the former Fork in the Road, a nearly decade-old cafe that closed in 2022.
