See Olympic champion figure skaters perform in North Texas this spring

Fresh off the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, some of the best figure skaters in the world, including members of the gold medal-winning Team USA, will skate into Dallas-Fort Worth on a star-studded tour this spring.

The 2026 Stars on Ice Tour will stop at Credit Union of Texas Event Center in the Dallas suburb of Allen on Friday, May 29.

Allen, which hosted back-to-back Skate America ISU figure skating competitions, in 2023 and 2024 - is the only Texas stop on the 26-city tour.

The skaters slated to appear include just-crowned Olympic champion Alysa Liu, silver medalist-ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates, Plano native and reigning national champion Amber Glenn, "The Quad God" Ilia Malinin, Olympians Isabeau Levito and Ellie Kam and Danny O'Shea, former U.S. champion and fan favorite Jason Brown, "and many more elite athletes to be announced soon," says the tour announcement.

"This spring’s Stars on Ice tour will bring together the very best in the world for an unforgettable, high-energy show filled with artistry, athleticism, and pure magic," the announcement says.

No doubt the Allen arena will be packed with hometowns fans of Glenn, affectionately known as "Glenn Heads." Glenn hails from neighboring Plano, where her parents live and her father is a longtime police sergeant. Though she moved to Colorado Springs to train in 2022, she still represents the Figure Skating Club of Dallas.

Glenn won her third consecutive U.S. Figure Skating Championships title in record-breaking fashion in January, and finished fifth at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The tour could also be a chance to see some skaters for the last time, and some with stars on the rise. Chock and Bates, three-time world champions, are expected to retire after this season; Brown is said to be wrapping up his competitive career, too. Levito and Malinin, on the other hand, are expected to contend at the 2030 Winter Olympics.

Tickets to Stars on Ice (starting at $49) are on sale now through Ticketmaster. Group seating discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.

According to the tour website, meet-and-greet tickets are already sold out for the Allen show, but customers can sign up for the email list to receive updates.

Virtual band Gorillaz climbs into Fort Worth on 2026 'Mountain' tour

Gorillaz will play at Dickies Arena on October 16, 2026.

Gorillaz, the world's most successful virtual act, will come to Fort Worth as part of their first extensive North American tour since 2022, playing at Dickies Arena on Friday, October 16.

The 22-city tour will start in Orlando, Florida on September 17, continuing through the end of October. In addition to Fort Worth, they will also play in Austin on October 15.

Co-creator Damon Albarn (of the band Blur) will be joined onstage by the Gorillaz live band and some very special guest performers. Little Simz will open on the majority of the dates, with Deltron 3030 appearing on all shows.

The tour is in support of Gorillaz' just-released new album, The Mountain, their ninth overall. The album and tour also coincide with the 25th anniversary of their 2001 self-titled debut album.

Despite not being the typical type of band, Gorillaz has remained popular for a quarter century thanks to a number of hits, including "Feel Good Inc.,” “Clint Eastwood,” “On Melancholy Hill,” “DARE,” “Dirty Harry,” and more.

Tickets for the tour will first be available via a KONG Card presale beginning Wednesday, March 4 at 10 am, followed by a Citi presale at 12 pm.

To participate in the Gorillaz Artist Presale on Friday, March 6 at 10 am, fans must sign up at signup.ticketmaster.com/gorillaz by Thursday, March 5 at 9 am. No codes are needed - access is tied to individual Ticketmaster accounts.

The general on-sale will take place on Monday, March 9 at 10 am at gorillaz.com/tour.
