Fort Worth restaurant Tre Mogli closes suddenly after short tenure. Tre Mogli, the Near Southside Italian restaurant from Fort Worth-based Trident Restaurant Group, closed on October 2, with a note thanking customers and employees for their support. Parker County Ice House, its sibling, also closed, leaving Wishbone & Flynt and its adjacent speakeasy The Amber Room on the Near Southside as the only remaining Trident Restaurant Group concepts still open.
Denver pizzeria to debut in Fort Worth with New York pies and craft beer. Parry's Pizzeria & Bar is a Denver-based chain known for its New York-style pizza and commitment to craft beer, and it's opening its first Fort Worth location at the Victory Shops at Heritage development. It's going into the former Rachel's Mediterranean Grill, which closed in July. According to a Parry's spokesperson, the pizzeria will open in spring 2024.
Acclaimed baker opens coffee shop with flawless filled croissants in Hurst. Rapalo Coffee & Croissants is a new shop selling coffee, espresso drinks, and croissants, which opened in September by the Northeast Mall. It's from Sayda Rapalo, a baker and entrepreneur who has trained in Europe, and is a spinoff of L'Epicerie, the French market, coffee roaster, and bakery she owns in Hurst.
Former Fort Worth Vietnamese restaurant Four Sisters mounts a comeback. Acclaimed Vietnamese restaurant in Fort Worth that closed in 2022 is making a comeback: Four Sisters - Taste of Vietnam, the family-centric restaurant which left its location on South Main St. in December after four years, will re-open at a new location in Mansfield.
Unique Indian restaurant with sports bar on the side to open in Fort Worth. Peak Restaurant & Bar, a popular Indian restaurant with a little sports bar on the side, will open a new location in Fort Worth, in the Western Plaza II shopping center at 2901 Fair Dr. It'll go into a space with a long sports bar history, most recently Baxter’s Grill & Sports Pub. A renovation is underway, and a manager says they're hoping to be open by early 2024.
