Thursday, April 2
Bailey Zimmerman in concert
The 26-year-old Bailey Zimmerman is one of the latest up-and-comers in country music, but his start in music was almost by chance when a video of him singing to impress girls drew attention from a songwriter. Just six years after he started sharing music on TikTok, Zimmerman has released an EP and two albums, most recently Different Night Same Rodeo in 2025, each of which has gone high on the Billboard Country chart. He'll perform at Dickies Arena.
UT Arlington Department of Theatre and Dance presents Hair
Hair’s tribe of young people protest U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War, rehearsing a topical array of such issues as racism, the ethics of war, and the need to listen to young people’s ideas. Premiering at the Public Theatre in 1967, Hair soon moved to Broadway and remains a favorite rock musical. The production will run through April 12 in the Fine Arts Building on the UT Arlington campus.
Casa Mañana presents The Music of Fleetwood Mac
The performers of Casa Mañana's Reid Cabaret Theatre will step into the storied world of Fleetwood Mac, going on a journey through their greatest hits, from the soulful storytelling of “Rhiannon,” “Dreams,” and “Landslide” to the intense energy of “Go Your Own Way,” “The Chain,” and more. The production will run through April 24.
Friday, April 3
Magnolia at the Modern: Fantasy Life
In Fantasy Life, an anxious law school dropout (writer/director Matthew Shear) stumbles into a job babysitting his psychiatrist's three granddaughters and falls for the girls' mother (Amanda Peet), an actress in a rocky marriage. The New York-set romantic comedy, co-starring Bob Balaban, Judd Hirsch, Zosia Mamet, Andrea Martin, Alessandro Nivola, and Holland Taylor, will screen six times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Flip Circus
Flip Circus is a brand-new big top entertainment experience created by the Vazquez family of Circus Vazquez fame. It features performers from around the world, including illusionist Jimmy Saylon, comedian Misha, juggler Dede Larible, trapeze artist Alexander Lichner, martial artists The Kung Fu Boys, and more. The circus will be in a big top tent in the parking lot at North East Mall in Hurst through April 13.
Gregorian: Pure Chants World Tour
With a signature blend of medieval chant and modern musical influences, Gregorian has sold over 10 million albums and performed to audiences worldwide. The world-renowned vocal phenomenon will perform at Arlington Music Hall as part of their Pure Chants world tour, featuring the songs of Enigma.
Shelby Stone in concert
Fort Worth's own Shelby Stone hasn't quite made the impact of fellow 26-year-old Bailey Zimmerman, but she's still turning heads with her music and bright blue hair. Playing a version of rock and Red Dirt country, Stone started playing professionally in 2020; released her first song in 2023; and put out her first album, Silverleaf, in 2025. She'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.
Saturday, April 4
National Theatre Live presents Hamlet
Olivier Award-winner Hiran Abeysekera (Life of Pi) is Hamlet in this fearless, contemporary take on Shakespeare’s famous tragedy. Trapped between duty and doubt, surrounded by power and privilege, young Prince Hamlet dares to ask the ultimate question — you know the one. This screening of a live London production will be at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Ernest in concert
Ernest is a rising country music star who's about to release the fourth album of his career, Deep Blue, on May 1. He can claim Nashville more than other country singers since he was born there in 1992. The proximity to country music greatness his entire life has allowed him to write songs for stars such as Morgan Wallen, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and Jelly Roll. He'll play at Billy Bob's Texas.
